Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Dance Intensive is offered in Jackson, MS each summer. Because not everyone has the opportunity to travel and attend a month-long workshop, Ballet Magnificat! Alpha & Omega companies are offering a shorter workshop while they are in Lakeland. This will give the opportunity for dancers in central Florida to participate in an abbreviated version of the Summer Dance Intensive. The classes in February will be taught by members of the Ballet Magnificat! Alpha Touring Company. while the classes in September will be taught by the members of the Omega Touring Company. The workshop schedule includes classes in ballet technique, pointe, modern and variations. Workshops are open to students eight years of age or older with at least one year of ballet training.
